					Members of Cal's Class of 1953 gather behind the university's new West Gate, located on the corner of Oxford and Center Streets. A gift of the class, the gate, which was inaugurated in fall 2000, welcomes visitors to the campus and the daily students and staff who commute into downtown Berkeley by BART and bus.
