Half- and Full-Day Camps
A wide variety of hands-on science-exploration camps on themes including animals, dinosaurs, math, wizards, digital art, and more. Youth may also attend full-day Science & Sports Camps (S2), offered by LHS in collaboration with Cal Youth and Outdoor Programs. (Register for the S2 Camps at www.oski.org/ html/scra_scisports2.htm.) LHS also offers residential, backpacking, and research camps at outdoor sites in Northern California. Overnight camps are for youth ages 8-18.
Level: Ages 4-5 through entering 9th grade for day camps; age 8 through entering 12th grade for overnight camps
Enrollment: 8 to 16 participants for day camps, depending on the camp
Dates: 1 or 2 weeks, June 20-Aug. 26
Fees: $145-$370 per camp; discounts for LHS members

Green Stuff Day Camp
Explore, taste, learn, discover, experiment, and enjoy the world of plants.

Half- and Full-Day Camps
Half-day co-ed sports camps in baseball, basketball, gymnastics, soccer, and volleyball. Two-week-long, full-day camps in skateboarding, music and dance, outdoor adventures, sports, and more. Extended care is available for all sports-camp participants ages 7-12. Camp directors include many current and former Cal sports coaches.
Level: 5-15 years
Dates: June 20-Aug. 26, one- or two-week camps
TImes: Full Day: 8 a.m.-6 p.m./Half Day: 9 a.m.- noon (extended-care available 8 a.m.-6 p.m.)
Fees: $85-175 for one-week camps, $300 for two-week camps

Young Writers’ Camp
Dates: June 27-July 15
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon
A unique opportunity for students to develop their writing skills. Through the camp, students grow in confidence and skill and discover the conditions and habits needed to do their best writing.
Ages: Students entering grades 4-8 in the fall, held in Albany, Oakland, San Ramon, Fremont.
