| Pictured above are some of the 500-plus Cal students and staff who helped to repair the homes of local elderly and disabled neighbors during last year's Rebuilding Together day. The event, formerly known as Christmas in April, attracted more than 2,000 workers, who repaired 29 houses and nine facilities in Albany, Berkeley and Emeryville. As a Rebuilding Together sponsor, Cal is gearing up for this spring's effort. The main work day is April 27, but repairs will also take place throughout April and May.
