April 16 "The American Presidency in the Year 2001." UC Berkeley Extension, the Institute for Governmental Studies and the New York Times co-sponsor this annual send-up of the American Presidency, now in its 20th year, 7-9 p.m., Dwinelle Hall, UC Berkeley campus, free.
April 28 "Children and the Unexpected Legacy of Divorce." UC Berkeley Extension conference features Judith Wallerstein discussing her provocative research on children of divorce and the implications for family law, psychotherapy and social policy, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Radisson Hotel, Berkeley Marina, fee-$265.
May 5 "Nanotechnology: Basic Concepts and Potential Applications."
