UC Botanical Garden

Music on Campus

The Department of Music offers a series of noon concerts on Wednesdays and Fridays during the school year at Hertz Hall, 12 p.m. Admission is free. The Department also sponsors a wide array of musical events in the evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Bancroft Library
Nearly 100 objects honoring the "feared, revered and quickly annihilated" California grizzly bear will be on display until Nov. 27. The show chronicles the brief but colorful history of the bear as its California habitat became home to explorers, adventurers, immigrants, and others.

The "Bear in Mind" exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from1 to 5 p.m. The Bancroft Library is located next to the Campanile.
