Fox Cottage
With its relocation and facelift now complete, the architecturally significant Fox Cottage opens as home to Cal's staff Ombuds Office - (from left to right) Director Anita Madrid, Margo Wesley and Michelle Bernal.

The eight-ton, 70-year-old historical landmark underwent seven months of seismic upgrades and extensive preservation work after a tenuous, two-block journey down Bowditch Street last January. The quaint, fairy-tale style building, with its small-paned windows, "clinker" bricks, cylindrical chimney and slate roof, was moved to make room for construction in the Underhill area.
